Terùn

80.00 - 490.00

Terún is a photo reportage created during 2018/19, documenting the 'Marielle Vive' occupation organized by the Movimento Sem Terra (Landless Movement) in Valinhos, Brazil. The series captures the evolution of the community while exploring the prejudices of local residents—many of Italian descent—against those living in the occupation. Through photography, the project reveals the historical amnesia that leads descendants of immigrants to judge new migrants with the same biases their ancestors once faced.

Winner of the Virada Sustentável Campinas Award (2019).
